Fruit de la collaboration entre le cabinet d’architecture FoX Tech et le chantier RLM Composites , le FoX 10.20 est un bateau excitant, conçu pour répondre au mieux aux attentes des plaisanciers et navigateurs d’aujourd’hui. Bénéficiant d’un look affûté et élégant, il allie une conception résolument moderne, à un mode de construction authentique, éprouvé et économique : le Contreplaqué – Epoxy

En plus d’apporter longévité (pas d’osmose) et robustesse à la structure, le mode de construction permet la personnalisation des bateaux mais surtout aussi de les proposer à différents stades de finition avec un encadrement du chantier. Les bateaux seront en effet disponibles soit entièrement fini, clef en main, soit coque pontée et structurée, avec finition extérieure, appendices et moteur posés. Enfin, il n’y a pas que les aménagements qui sont personnalisables puisque le bateau sera en effet proposé avec différentes configuration d’appendices : biquille (échouable !), quille relevable (lest profond et plus léger) ou quille fixe.

La carène puissante, mais polyvalente grâce au maître bau modéré, dégage un beau volume intérieur. Deux versions d’aménagement sont disponibles avec pour chacune de grands espaces de rangement / zone technique. Le plan de pont proposera un accastillage simplifié mais fonctionnel ainsi qu’un cockpit bien protégé par des hiloires volumineuses.

Result of the collaboration between the design office FoX Tech and the yard RLM Composites , the FoX 10.20 is an exciting new cruiser, developed to better fulfil the expectations of today’s sailors and navigators. Benefiting from a sharp but elegant look, this yacht combines a thoroughly modern design, with a tested, authentic and economical build process: plywood-epoxy.

Besides enhancing the lifetime and the stiffness of the structure, this building the boats out of plywood/epoxy enables to customise them but above all to deliver them at several stages of the construction with a supervision of the yard. The boats will indeed be available either completely finished, ready to sail, or hull, deck and structure assembled, with exterior finish, appendages and engine fixed. Furthermore, the yard will offer three appendage layouts including: twin keels, lifting keel and fixed keel.

The hull shape, influenced by the latest ocean racing machines, is powerful but versatile and should provide for plenty of interior volume. Two internal layouts are available, both providing sleeping accommodation for 6, a large kitchen, plenty of storage and a “technical zone”. The deck plan has been designed for a simplified but efficient hardware package and includes a safe and well protected cockpit.
